Today we did Grammar Warm Ups #3 :-
1. the sun was just slipped below the horizen when our aunt who had rode her camel from the south she arrives at our camp
2. at first passengers of the titanic pay no attention to the sirens they thought it was a false alarm
After the Grammar Warm Ups, we had a discussion about F451. we asked sister salma any questions we had and discussed what we read. After that, we read a couple of pages from F451.
for Hw just finish the 1st part of the book and finish the questions in the packet. Also, complete the vocab packet, we have sp. test on Monday.

The first thing that we did today in class was the vocabulary test, after we worked on the skills page and took a spelling pre test for lesson 13. When we finished that we discussed our reading journal for F451. Then sister Salma explained the homework for the night and we were dismissed.

Today we wrote in our journals and shared them with a classmate. Since today we completed the 10th entry we are turning in our journals (we have till the end of the week). After that we went over the Elements of Non-Fiction chart for "My English". We have a reading test for "My English" tomorrow, so study for that. For homework complete excercise 3 in the vocab packet.

Grammar Warm Up:

Today in class, we did our grammar warm up and corrected it, then we went over our reading questions we did for homework yesterday. After that we got a worksheet about the radio bulletin and had to pick partners.

Today in class we took our vocabulary test for lessons 9-10 and our pre-test for lesson 11. After this we highlighted or underlined our new vocabulary words. Then we read the story "White House Party" and finished it( on pgs.98-103 in Eng. textbook). Then we did a worksheet relating to the story but we didn't turn it in.

Today in class, we corrected last night's Homework ( worksheet for "uncle Marcos"). We also did our Journal entry #9. Then, we created a timeline about the events that occured throughout: "Uncle Marcos".

Today in Sr.Salma's English class, because of the IB visitors, Sr.Salma was not alble to attend the class. Instead, we had a substitute, Sr.Karina. We did the spelling pre-test for lesson 8 with her, and then we did vocabulary exercise 1. Then we had Sr.Aminah as our subsitute, she watched us as we wrote our point-to ponder. At the end of class, we turned in our point-to-ponder.

NOTE: we did not correct each others excercise 1 of the lesson.
